Founded in London in 2017 by former Wise and MarketInvoice employees and backed by Octopus Ventures, TaxScouts was acquired by Berlin's Taxfix Group in July 2024 and is being rebranded as Taxfix in the UK — the service continues unchanged.
Automation handles intake, document collection, and accountant matching; the filing itself is done by a human accredited accountant — a deliberately human-in-the-loop model.
