Founded in August 2024 (previously operating as Numiro) by CEO Leroy Kerry and CTO Atul Ramachandran, Filed raised $17.2M across pre-seed and seed rounds led by Northzone, and was integrated into Canopy's platform as "Smart Prep" in January 2026. It claims firms process about 3x more returns without adding headcount.
